DESCRIPTION

The HS568 was developed as a head seal to replace an o-ring and a backup ring. It's symmetrical one-piece design reduces the risk of installation damage and back-up blow-out. 

Two of the most common seal failures on cylinder heads are o-ring back-up blow-out and pinched back-ups. Both failures are common in systems with high eccentricities or large extrusion gaps. Both problems are eliminated with the HS568 profile's one-piece urethane design offering improved fit and a stable geometry. 

Molded in 90-durometer polyurethane, this seal can withstand pressures as high as 10,000 PSI
